HOW CAN I HELP?

Volunteer!

The Pantry welcomes volunteers who are willing to follow the procedures outlined below: 
– Show respect and confidentiality toward clients
– Assist in the sorting and packing of food items
– Assist in the distribution of food
– Attend an orientation meeting
– Show a desire to help others

Non-perishable food:
We accept non-perishable food. These items may be taken to the Pantry during our operating hours. Items should not be outdated.

Food Drives:
The Pantry is always eager to assist any school, club or organization to hold drives for the Pantry. 

Drivers!

Drivers are needed to pick up food on a rotating basis at Daily Bread Ministries in San Antonio. All drivers must present a current, valid driver’s license.

Deliver!

With written notification from the client, individuals other than the client may pick up food and deliver it to individuals who are unable to visit the Pantry.
